ASSOCIATED GENERAL CONTRACTORS OF AMERICA REACCREDITED AS AN AUTHORIZED PROVIDER OF IACET CEUS

Prestigious Accreditation Demonstrates Commitment to High-Quality Lifelong Learning

The International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) has awarded reaccreditation status to the Associated General Contractors of America (ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥). IACET Authorized Providers are the only organizations approved to offer IACET Continuing Education Units (CEUs). The accreditation period extends for five years, and includes select programs offered or created during that time.

"Education is critical to enabling our members to keep up with ever-changing construction technologies and techniques," said Stephen Sandherr, the construction association's chief executive officer. "This renewed partnership demonstrates our commitment to providing the highest quality education and training programs possible."

In 2012, ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ provided over 2,000 members the training programs needed to receive continuing education credits. Since joining with IACET in 2007, ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ has trained over 25,000 construction professionals. With this renewed partnership, the association will continue to offer valuable programs such as the Advanced Management Program, Project Manager Course, Compliance training, with more to be offered throughout the year.

"We are pleased to continue our relationship with ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ as an Authorized Provider," stated Michael Todd Shinholster, President of IACET and Founder and Principal Consultant of Culture Bridge and a Lecturer of International Business at Kennesaw State University in Woodstock, GA. Shinholster added, "ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ joins nearly 650 organizations around the globe that have had their programs vetted by third-party experts in continuing education to ensure the highest possible standards are met."

In order to achieve Authorized Provider accreditation, ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ completed a rigorous application process, including a review by an IACET site visitor, and successfully demonstrated adherence to the ANSI/IACET 1-2007 Standard addressing the design, development, administration, and evaluation of its programs. ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ has pledged its continued compliance with the Standard, and is now authorized to use the IACET name and Authorized Provider logo on promotional course material. In addition, ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ is now linked to the IACET web site and is recognized as offering the highest quality continuing education and training programs.
