Join an award-winning wastewater industry leader in protecting our environment! The Metropolitan Council’s Environmental Services (ES) division operates and maintains the wastewater collection and treatment system in the Twin Cities metro area.Â
This role involves leading and managing the development and execution of a commissioning program for ES focusing on capital projects for water resource recovery facilities (aka wastewater treatment plants) and interceptor facilities. The aim is to ensure these projects fulfill contract stipulations and address the operational and maintenance needs of the business. Candidates should possess experience in operating and commissioning diverse wastewater treatment systems and demonstrate robust resilience in resolving issues and challenges that may emerge from new or unpredictable circumstances, with an affinity for field service work.
Salary Range:Â $88,961.60 - $135,054.40 Annually
 Any combination of professional experience working with commissioning large industrial or wastewater treatment systems AND education in construction management, engineering, chemistry, biology, or a related field:
HS diploma/GED and ten (10) years of experience.
Associate's degree and eight (8) years of experience.
Bachelor's degree and six (6) years of experience; or
Master's degree or higher and (4) years of experience.Â
